After launching in 2008 by dedicating a night talking to (and listening to) legendary writer Rick Nowells , this exciting event is now returning for it's second year, and the Bedford is once more proud to be part of London Songwriters Week. We present a unique evening of music and chat from Sacha Skarbek, hit songwriter responsible for many songs including BEAUTIFUL with James Blunt.
In conversation with Tony Moore, Sacha will talk about his life as a songwriter with an opportunity for Q&A's from the audience. Then Sacha will listen to people songs and try to help them with creative input, then finally he will play an acoustic set of some of his hits. Come and be a part of the magic, FREE entry but only the first 200 to register will be able to get in, so please register now to be sure of a place.
Format of the evening
7-8 pm Tony Moore interviews Sasha about his career, and the hits he has written
8-9 pm "Demo Drop" where Sasha "critiques" peoples songs, honestly and directly...as if he was in a professional co-write situation and was trying to help polish the songs and make them as potentially successful as possible -
Break
9.15-10pm Sasha will perform an acoustic set, with guest singers, playing a selection of his hits.
